Turkey and Pasta Bake
Ingredients
300g minced turkey
150g diced bacon
2 teaspoons crushed garlic
1 onion
2 carrots
2 tablespoons tomato puree
1 1/4 cups chicken stock
500g pasta
grated cheese
Method
Peel and chop onion and carrots.
Brown turkey in a non stick saucepan, breaking up any large pieces with a wooden spoon, until well browned all over. add bacon, garlic, onion, carrots, tomato puree, and stock.
Bring to the boil, cover and simmer until tender.
Preheat the oven to 180C.
Cook the pasta according to packet instructions.
Drain thoroughly and mix in with the sauce.
Transfer to a shallow ovenproof dish and sprinkle with cheese.
Bake for 20 minutes until lightly browned on top.
