Pumpkin Soup with Tortellini

Ingredients
250g tortellini (Tortellini will be found in the fridge section of your supermarket)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion
1 teaspoon crushed garlic
1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon cracked black peppercorns
1kg pumpkin
1 potato
1 litre chicken stock
1/2 cup cream
1 tablespoon chopped chives
1 tablespoon basil

Method
Peel and chop onion, potato and pumpkin.
Cook Tortellini according to packet instructions.
Heat oil in pan.
Cook onion, garlic, coriander and cumin stirring until the onion is soft.
Stir in pepper, pumpkin and potato.
Cook stirring for 2 minutes.
Add stock and bring to the boil,
simmer covered for 15 to 20 minutes.
Mash soup until the pumpkin and potato are broken up.
Stir in cream, chives, basil and tortellini.
Stir over heat until heated through.
Serve with bread.
