Macaroni, Tuna and Asparagus Bake

Ingredients
2 cups macaroni
210g can tuna
340g can asparagus spears
4 tablespoons cornflour
2 1/2 cups milk
3 cups grated cheese
Salt
Pepper

Method
Cook macaroni in a large saucepan in boiling, salted water until tender.
Drain and return to saucepan.
Drain tuna and asparagus.
Reserve the brine of the asparagus.
Mix cornflour to a paste with a little of the asparagus brine.
Mix with remaining brine into milk.
Pour over macaroni and cook until sauce boils and thickens.
Mix in half the cheese and season with salt and pepper.
Spread half the mixture in an ovenproof dish.
Arrange asparagus spears over top.
Spread tuna over the asparagus.
Spread the remaining macaroni mixture over and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
Grill until cheese is golden and heated through.
