Italian Meatballs and Spaghetti

Ingredients
500g mince
½ cup breadcrumbs
2 onions
¼ cup cheese
Basil
1 egg
2 teaspoons crushed garlic
Salt
Pepper
½ cup seasoned flour
Oil for shallow frying
2 cups tomato sauce
425g can chopped tomatoes
½ cup white wine
1 teaspoon sugar
500g spaghetti

Method
Peel and grate one onion.
Peel and chop the other onion.
Grate cheese.
Beat egg.
Combine mince, breadcrumbs, grated onion, cheese, basil to taste, egg, 1 teaspoon garlic, seasonings to taste.
Mix well.
Form mixture into balls using a tablespoon of mixture a ball.
Dust in the seasoned flour.
Fry for 3 minutes in a little hot oil until well browned remove meatballs from pan.
Sauté chopped onion and the other teaspoon garlic in the oil until onion is tender.
Blend in tomato sauce, tomatoes, wine, sugar and seasonings to taste.
Bring to the boil.
Reduce heat.
Simmer for 3 minutes.
Add meat balls to pan.
Simmer covered for 30 minutes.
Cook spaghetti to packet instructions.
Serve meatballs with pasta and sauce.
Sprinkle with basil.
