Fettuccine Carbonara
Ingredients
4 bacon rashers
375g fettuccine
3 egg yolks
1 cup cream
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons chopped chives
Method
Coarsely chop bacon.
Cook bacon in a frying pan until crisp.
Cook pasta in a large saucepan of boiling water, uncovered until just tender, drain.
Combine all other ingredients.
Combine bacon, sauce and pasta in a large bowl.
Serve.
