Classic Tomato Pasta
Ingredients
400g pasta
100g diced bacon
1 teaspoon chilli powder
2 cloves garlic
1 onion
1 tablespoon olive oil
275ml tomato purée
Salt
Pepper
Parsley
Method
Cook pasta to packet instructions.
Peel and chop garlic and onion.
Fry bacon, onion and garlic in the oil until onion is softened.
Add the tomato purée and the chilli powder.
Simmer until slightly reduced.
Season.
Mix the sauce though the pasta and serve garnished with parsley.
