Asparagus and Pea Gnocchi with Toasted Onion

Ingredients
2 x 600g packet tomato and basil gnocchi
2 tins of asparagus tips and cuts
100g frozen peas thawed
1 tablespoon oil
1 onion
300ml thickened cream
grated cheese

Method
Peel and chop onion.
Cook gnocchi for 2 minutes.
Add peas and cook for a further 2 minutes.
Drain in a colander. Cover to keep warm.
Heat the oil in a large non stick frying pan over medium high.
Cook onion for 7 to 8 minutes.
Add the cream to the frying pan and cook stirring until boiling.
Add asparagus and cook until asparagus is warm.
Add gnocchi and peas cook for 2 more minutes.
Serve in a bowl topped with grated cheese.
