Steak over rice

Ingredients
1 tablespoon oil
750g steak
2 onions
1 can cream of mushroom soup
½ cup water
½ cup red wine
1 ½ teaspoon garlic salt
3 cups rice

Method
Peel and chop onions coarsely.
Cut steak into strips.
Brown steak in oil.
Turn the heat down and sauté the onions with the meat until the onions are soft.
Add soup, water, red wine, and garlic salt.
Stir and cover and let simmer for 1 hour.
Cook rice to packet instructions.
Serve over rice.
