Irish Stew
Ingredients
500g chops
2 onions
3 potatoes
2 cups water
Salt
Pepper
Chopped parsley
2 cups rice
Gravy mix
Method
Peel and wash onions and potatoes.
Cut onions, potatoes into slices.
Cut chops into pieces.
Place meat, onions and potatoes in a saucepan.
Add water, salt and pepper.
Cover and simmer until meat and potatoes are tender.
Cook rice to packet instructions (meat and veg take about as long as the rice to cook).
Make gravy to packet instructions.
Serve rice.
Place meat and veg on top.
Pour over gravy and garnish with parsley.
